Music and movement fuse in the word 'casadh' as the choreographer Fearghus Ó Conchúir and the composer Rachel Holstead come together in this new work, CASADH ARIS. The performance is an investigation and a celebration of the communication between them and their art forms.
Fearghus Ó Conchúir was brought up in the Ring Gaeltacht. He has choreographed contemporary dance throughout Ireland, England and China - with the purpose of linking people and developing their creative possibilities. His work can be seen on www.bodiesandbuildings.blogspot.com

Rachel Holstead has composed music for solo musicians, loudspeakers and orchestras. She has also worked alongside artists and scientists and has been involved in projects which have taken her from the Artic Circle to Central Park and back home to Chorca Dhuibhne.
