Recognised as one of the most significant musicians on the contemporary traditional music scene, concertina player Cormac Begley has toured extensively and has collaborated with a wide array of musicians. Fiddle player Liam O’Connor from Dublin is highly regarded as a musician as well as researcher and is the Director of ITMA presently. Mayo-accordionist Fiachna Ó Mongáin’s music is influenced by the likes of Joe Cooley and Tony MacMahon. Both Liam and Fiachna are former Gradam Ceoil Recipients.
